Mental Health Services | Community Volunteer Service Program (CVSP) | Corrections Treatment Program Mental Health Services At Human Services of Western Pennsylvania, Inc., we know how to listen in a caring and sensitive manner. Our staff members are carefully selected and include licensed social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists and mental health therapists. Community Volunteer Services
Program Since its inception in 1994, CVSP has proven successful in working with first-time, non-violent offenders in providing volunteer placement within nonprofit agencies, monitoring volunteer service and verifying completed hours to the court system. CVSP also functions as a referral network to human services within the community for participants and their families for such things as employment, education, housing, drug and alcohol treatment, etc. Corrections
Treatment Program The goal of treatment is to assist the individuals served in making behavioral changes, resulting in healthy and productive members of society. We also strive to reduce recidivism. |
